I’m passionate about a few things in my life. Two words can help sum up the majority of my passions:

When I was in dietetics school, I started a blog called Heaven Sent Peanut Butter. [Sorry, it no longer exists.] I started it as a way to share my recipes, health information, and a few family updates. As I became a dietitian [RD = Registered Dietitian], HSPB continued to exist, but my approach to nutrition was changing as I further buried my head in nutrition books and research. Enter Wholesome LLC and this blog as a way to continue to share my recipes with a plant-based focus, plant-based nutrition research and health topics, and now my adventures as a mother & dietitian raising and feeding a [now] toddler with plants. A place to embrace my two biggest passions in life.

This portion of the Wholesome blog will be focused on our “Growing Family” to you help you and your entire family live a more wholesome life.
Stay tuned here for more, such as our infertility story, Eleni’s birth story, our cloth diapering tips, feeding and growing a plant-based baby, and more.

A great topic would be your approach to baby led weaning!
That is a great topic! I get a lot of questions about baby led weaning as it is a new approach to feeding infants when they are ready for solid foods.
While I don’t plan to have children, I’m so excited to learn more about your fam experiences, especially raising a plant-based baby!!
Thanks, Katie!
