    Whoa, I had no idea about the connection between pro-oxidant heme iron and free radicals. Super enlightening! I have a really delish go-to lunch salad recipe that’s got quinoa, dried apricots, chickpeas, plus flat-leaf parsley and pistachios (two more foods I learned are iron-rich!), so it looks like, according to your chart, it’s definitely one I’ve gotta keep in the rotation!
